Dive in the Sea of Cortez and see schools of fish, rays, and playful sea lions. Visit El Bajo to look for hammerhead sharks, and Los Islotes to swim near a sea lion colony. The area features rocky reefs, pinnacles, some coral, and many colorful fish unique to this region.

Near the tip of Baja California, La Paz is off the beaten path and close to some of the best diving in the Sea of Cortez.

Package Includes:

• 7 nights at Hotel Catedral (double occupancy) including 16% tax
• 5 days of diving with Cortez Club (THREE boat dives each day) including 16% tax
• Tanks, weights and weight belt
• Breakfast daily at hotel
• Welcome Margarita Mixer followed by taco dinner
• Lunch on dive days
• Transfers to/from La Paz airport (LAP)
• Thanksgiving and farewell dinner

Not included:
Airfare to La Paz, rental equipment if needed, Marine Park Fees ($25 cash), two lunches and four dinners, beverages other than welcome party, gratuities, and items of a personal nature.

If whale sharks arrive for the winter, you can join an optional snorkeling trip with them for $130 plus 16% tax.

Getting there:
Arrive La Paz (LAP) any time on November 21 and depart on November 28. Most of the group will fly on Alaska Airlines via LAX. .

Low-cost Mexican airline Volaris serves La Paz (LAP) from both Tijuana (TIJ) and Mexico City. This is a great option for our divers coming from San Diego!  You can also fly directly to La Paz on Delta/Aeromexico via Mexico City.
