The Advanced Open Water Course develops confidence!
Exploration, Excitement, Experiences. They’re what the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about. And no, you don’t have to be “advanced” to take it – it’s designed so you can go straight into it after the PADI Open Water Diver course. The Advanced Open Water Diver course helps you increase your confidence and build your scuba skills so you can become more comfortable in the water. This is a great way to get more dives under your belt while continuing to learn under the supervision of your PADI Instructor. This course builds on what you’ve learned and develops new capabilities by introducing you to new activities and new ways to have fun scuba diving. 

 $375 includes eLearning ($216 value) 

To keep our prices low, all classes are nonrefundable & there is a  $50 transfer fee to change the date.

ONCE YOU HAVE SIGNED UP FOR CLASS:

• Email jean@uwsafaris.com your date of birth along with your PADI (or other agency) Open Water Certification number.  We'll then sign you up for the eLearning.  Please note eLearning MUST be completed before the class starts.
• Read and complete the following sections:
  • Deep Diver 
  • Underwater Navigator
  • Underwater Naturalist
  • Wreck Diver
  • Peak Performance Buoyancy (Unless doing the Dry Suit Diver)
• Students must provide ALL of their own SCUBA quality equipment. Including mask, fin, boots, snorkel, BCD, regulator, exposure suit, hood, gloves, tanks, weights and dive computer for all sessions of the course. *Dry Suit available at $350 including Dry Suit eLearning ($146 value) and use of Dry Suit for entire class, pool session, extra dry suit dive and dry suit certification).  Sign up for Drysuit here!
• Rentals are available, student discount applies towards rental of equipment. 
• Please look at the PADI Medical release everyone must complete to take this class.  You can find it here.  If anyone answers YES to questions 3, 5 or 10 on page one OR to any of the questions on page 2, please read and agree to the statement above by signing and dating it AND take all three pages of this form (Participant Questionnaire and the Physician’s Evaluation Form) to your physician for a medical evaluation. Participation in a diving course requires your physician’s approval.
